- Identity Documents: Photos used for identity verification within the school environment.
📷 2. Device Permissions
Camera Permission: Used for scanning QR codes to join classrooms or verify attendance, and capturing profile photos. We do not access the camera in the background.
Storage & Media Access: Veda uses the Android System Photo Picker for selecting media. We only receive access to the specific files you manually select — we do not have broad access to your photo library.
Storage access is used to save study resources, PDF notes, and assignments to your downloads folder.

As Veda is used in educational settings, we prioritize the protection of children under the age of 13:
- Institutional Consent: We rely on schools or teachers to obtain appropriate parental consent before students under 13 use the platform.
- Minimal Data Collection: We do not collect more information from children than is reasonably necessary for classroom activities.
- No Advertising: We do not serve advertisements and never use children's data for behavioral advertising.
